20 years of experience working with the international travel trade, means we understand the UK's key markets and changing holiday trends.  We work to represent the region as a whole, and partners, to key overseas markets, including America and Europe. Our international email database keeps us in touch with over 1700 international travel trade buyers.

Tourism South East are delighted to offer destinations, attractions, and accommodation business a programme of newsletters and wider marketing opportunities to showcase products and target international visitors.

 

In 2019 international spending represented over £2 billion to the South East of England. Our role is to inspire our international guests, and encourage them to spend their holiday exploring South East England. The region boasts the benefit of being home to some of the busiest international gateways to the UK, including Gatwick, Heathrow, Dover, Portsmouth and Southampton. By working together, across our region, we can enhance our individual USP's, maximise visibility and reduce costs ready to welcome visitors back to the South East.

Our 'South East Highlights' programme ensures we collectively build awareness of the region, and our travel trade contacts continue to be educated and inspired about products and services throughout the year.

Three themed e-newsletters will be dispatched to our full database of travel trade contacts, across all countries. 2022 has been a significant year for recovery for the US inbound travel market. Recent data continues to show North America as the UK’s no.1 inbound market for volume and value.

Target Audience 

From Jan to Sept 2022 the UK received 4.1 million North American (including Canada) visits, spending £5.3 billion. The US accounted for 16% of international visits and 29% of overall spend.

Campaign Package

  • Targeted representation at VisitBritain Destination Britain North America – sale mission meeting over 60 US operators.

  • Targeted representation at UK trade events, including UKinbound, BIM and Explore GB

  • Targeted travel agent newsletters and communications – 1100 contacts

  • Targeted US trade e-newsletter – 3 themed dispatches to 400 trade contacts

  • Full reports for each event, contact details and leads.

  • Inclusion in itineraries and collateral distributed to operators/presentations/fact sheets.

TSE aims to highlight the region's continued commitment in welcoming European visitors through a targeted activity to our four closest European countries.  

Target Audience 

Trade and Tour Operators, Wholesalers, OTA’s in Near Europe markets including Germany, France, Belgium and Netherlands. We are also including a sale mission to the Nordics markets of Norway and Sweden.

Sale Mission Activity

As part of the sales missions and events, TSE will ensure your products are showcased to key trade decision makers in each market. Each sale mission has been offered as individual buy in. You will receive a full report from each mission, including market overview, full contact details of 10-15 contacts and active leads:

  • Sales missions to London Travel Trade and Wholesalers -  Autumn/Winter 2023-and representation Britain and Ireland Market Place - January 2024

Dutch Travel Show 

Vakantiebeurs is the largest annual holiday show in the Netherlands. Running in January 2024 - 10th - 14th, the show is a household name for Dutch holidaymakers.

Target Market

Dutch consumers seeking new inspiration, experiences, and a key event for planning their future holidays.

Activity

A co-ordinated South East England presence at this show offers the chance to put products directly in front of consumers who are planning to visit the UK;

Important Dates

  • We have four confirmed stand partners for the show, additional partners can join us up until 1st December.

  • Materials for shipping will need to be at the TSE Eastleigh office by the 15th December at the latest

  • Adverts for inclusion in the DL South East touring map guide will need to be emailed to jchivers@tourismse.com by 17th November.

  • Full page adverts need to be 94mm w x 203mm high

  • 1/2 page adverts need to be 94mm w x 98mm high

  • Pls supply with NO bleed or cropmarks as print ready PDFs at required size. We can accept JPEGs but please make sure they are CMYK or this will have an impact on the colours when printed.
