2026 Beautiful South Awards Open 
 

Entries are now open for the 2026 Beautiful South Tourism Awards, celebrating excellence across tourism and hospitality in South East England.
 

These awards recognise outstanding businesses of all sizes, from accommodation and attractions to experiences, events and food and drink.

Previous entrant, George Modruj from Hurley House Hotel, shared, “The judges’ feedback and suggestions during the submission process are particularly insightful, helping us to recognise both our strengths and areas for improvement. Receiving these awards has been a significant morale booster for our team and a clear recognition of their hard work and dedication. More importantly, the resulting increase in bookings is measurable and has been especially valuable during these challenging times.”
 

Fran Downton from Tourism South East said, “entering offers businesses the chance to raise their profile, stand out in a competitive market and receive valuable independent feedback. Winners in selected categories may go on to represent the region at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2027. I would like to congratulate three of our 2025 Beautiful South Awards winners – The Grand Brighton, Bletchley Park and Cedar Hollow @ The Oaks – who have reached the finals of the 2026 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.”
 

The Oaks told us “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached the finals of the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence and feel incredibly privileged to be representing the South East. For a small independent business like ours, this recognition means so much not only to our family, but also to the wider team of artisans, set designers and illusionists whose creativity and hard work help make Cedar Hollow an immersive experience, rather than simply a place to stay.”
 

The awards are open to tourism and hospitality businesses operating across the South East, including Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, the Isle of Wight, Sussex and Kent. The deadline for entry is midnight, 26 June 2026
