Salary: £26,681.20 per annum

As Visitor Operations Supervisor at Winchester Science Centre, you’ll lead the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding visitor experiences across public days, school visits, events, evening programmes and private hires.

Working closely with the Visitor Operations Manager and colleagues in Retail and Food & Beverage, you’ll help ensure a smooth, welcoming and well-run visitor journey across the site. You’ll provide visible, hands-on leadership on the floor, motivating and supporting the Visitor Operations team to deliver high standards of customer service, accessibility and safety.

You’ll play a key role in daily operations, including team briefings, managing visitor flow, handling first-line enquiries and complaints, and supporting the Duty Manager with reporting and site procedures. You may also act as Duty Manager for smaller-scale events, taking responsibility for the safe and successful operation of the centre.

This role is ideal for an experienced supervisor with a positive, calm and organised approach, a passion for great customer service, and confidence leading teams in a busy visitor-focused environment. Flexibility is required to support events and operational needs, and the role is subject to a basic DBS check.

The Visitor Operations Manager at Winchester Science Centre leads the delivery of a high-quality, welcoming and commercially sustainable experience for all visitors, from ticket purchase through to departure. The role plays a central part in supporting Wonderseekers’ charitable mission to spark curiosity in science and nature, ensuring every visitor touchpoint is accessible, efficient and inspiring.

As a key member of the Commercial Operations team, you’ll provide operational leadership across all on-site activity, including general admission days, schools, groups, planetarium shows, special events, private hires and evening programmes. Acting as part of the Duty Manager team, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth, safe and effective running of the site, leading teams through busy days, challenges and change.

You’ll line manage the Visitor Operations team, creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture through recruitment, training, coaching and development. The role also holds responsibility for the ticketing system, visitor data and insight, using reporting and feedback to understand visitor behaviour, improve the visitor journey and support informed decision-making across the organisation.

Working closely with colleagues in Retail, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Estates and other teams, you’ll help deliver a joined-up visitor experience and lead projects that enhance operational efficiency and visitor impact. The Creative Programme Producer is a key role at Winchester Science Centre, responsible for bringing bold, imaginative ideas to life through an inspiring public programme for children, families and wider audiences. From concept through to delivery, you’ll produce a diverse portfolio of events, live demonstrations, exhibitions and creative content that connects people with science, nature and creativity.

Working closely with artists, producers, performers and creatives, you’ll commission and deliver high-quality programmes that are engaging, inclusive and commercially effective. You’ll play a central role in embedding new exhibitions and spaces into the live programme, ensuring they remain fresh, relevant and impactful over time.

The role works collaboratively across the organisation, including with the Creative Learning Producer, Planetarium Officer, Business Development Officer, ECO team and Children’s Voice steering group, to ensure programming is joined-up, accessible and genuinely child-centred. You’ll use insight, evaluation and feedback to shape content that responds to audience needs and supports the organisation’s mission.

As a producer, you’ll lead projects end-to-end, managing budgets, schedules, external practitioners and production processes to ensure creative work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. You’ll also line manage the Inspirer team and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and accountability.

This is a pivotal senior leadership position with responsibility for the overall financial health, sustainability and strategic direction of the Cathedral. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Chapter and senior colleagues, the role provides financial leadership across a complex charitable organisation, supporting income generation, investment planning and effective use of resources.

Key responsibilities include leading financial strategy, budgeting and reporting; overseeing statutory accounts, audits and risk management; advising trustees and committees; supporting new projects and strategic initiatives; and managing and developing the finance team. The role also has oversight of IT strategy and third-party service providers.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with senior-level financial leadership experience, ideally within a charity, heritage or values-led organisation. Strong commercial awareness, experience of income generation, excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style are essential.

Responsibilities include event coordination and administration, creating event listings and webpages, liaising with customers, supporting on-the-day delivery, and supervising tutors and volunteers.

Brooklands Museum is seeking a creative and collaborative Learning & Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality, curriculum-linked learning and engagement programmes at one of the UK’s most iconic heritage sites.

Reporting to the Head of Collections & Audience Engagement, the role leads the Learning & Engagement team and oversees schools, STEM, community, family and holiday programmes, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive and aligned with visitor and income targets. A key focus of the role is shaping and growing the Brooklands Innovation Academy as a flagship STEM initiative, alongside building strong relationships with schools, community groups and educational partners across the region.
