About the Event
Join us at Bletchley Park for networking with fellow Tourism South East members over lunch followed by an introduction and guided tour to discover the amazing stories of the World War II Codebreakers.
Bletchley Park is famous for being the site of the UK's top-secret codebreaking efforts during World War II. It was the location where British mathematicians, scientists and cryptanalysts worked to decode encrypted German communications, most notably the Enigma machine. Their successful decryption of these messages is widely believed to have shortened the war by as much as two years and saved countless lives. The work done at Bletchley Park was so secret that it was only revealed to the public decades later.
