Oxfordshire Events

Our hugely popular networking events provide excellent opportunities for you to meet other local members, share experiences and develop new strategic relationships. You are encouraged to bring any literature that others can take to share with their own guests and visitors. The events are free for members to attend but prior registration is essential due to high demand for places. (Non-members are welcome to attend at a cost of £5 to cover catering.) Members in Oxfordshire can also attend our networking events held in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Your local TSE contact is Jeanette Howse. Jeanette has great local knowledge and experience of working with the tourism industry and with business networks generally. Jeanette has previously scooped two awards at the Wantage Business Breakfast Club as Best Networker 2014 and 2016 plus the overall Best Ambassador for the Club 2014

Networking events for 2020 will be announced in January. To register your interest in these events email Jeanette.

TSE members from Berks Bucks and Oxon and two from Hastings enjoyed a visit to Kelmscott Manor near Faringdon in Oxfordshire on Tuesday 14th August 2019.  Kelmscott was the summer home of William Morris, it being too cold in the winter to stay there.  Its full of tapestry’s done by his family and hangings of many of his well known designs.  The group enjoyed a tour around on a day not open to the public and enjoyed a ploughmans lunch in the tearoom.  We are very grateful to Gavin Williams Property Manager of Kelmscott Manor for hosting this event.  Kelmscott will close at the end of August to undertake a lot of refurbishment improvements, a new Education Centre and vital updating thanks to a £5 million lottery grant.

We are always looking for interesting venues for these events and members welcome the opportunity to showcase their venue. If you would be interested in hosting a networking event, please email Jeanette
