Hampshire Events

Our hugely popular networking events provide excellent opportunities for you to meet other local members, share experiences and develop new strategic relationships. You are encouraged to bring any literature that others can take to share with their own guests and visitors. The events are free for members to attend but prior registration is essential due to high demand for places. (Non-members are welcome to attend at a nominal cost to cover catering.)

Email Marketing for Tourism Businesses - Delivered by Communicator 

Thursday 20th July 2017 


43 members attended the free member network event and workshop at The National Museum of the Royal Navy which was delivered by Communicator, the following areas were covered; email sophistication; what is email marketing; email best practice; email strategy; data quality; EU reform legislation and current trends. We would like to once again thank The National Museum of the Royal Navy for hosting and of course Communicator for delivering a fantastic, informative and engaging email marketing workshop. Just to say thank you for organising this session yesterday and to say I found it extremely beneficial. It has made me think in a very different way about sending and receiving emails. In particular in putting a plan in process, subject headings and super subjects appropriate to personal devises! We touched on the legal aspects and best practise regarding emails and I was unaware of the new legislation coming into force and so I found this information very helpful. Sussex Top Attractions

Developing Local Knowledge

By working with our partners we have tailored our customer care training courses to incorporate the development of local knowledge, these have included, Welcome Portsmouth; Welcome South Downs and Welcome New Forest.  

Courses can be organised (minimum of 12 participants) for tourism groups, local businesses and destination partners.  To find out more about these courses or register your interest in organising a course please contact the training team.
