Training department at Tourism South East

A series of evaluation reports have been prepared by the training department to review the training projects they have recently managed.

 

  • Fresh Skills for Chefs - Executive Summary / Full Report - this project covered the south east region and its aim was to develop and pilot a new, flexible training programme for chefs in employment that would equip them with the skills to prepare and cook local ingredients
  • Hosting the World - Executive Summary / Full Report - this south east wide project aimed to assist tourism, leisure and hospitality organisations to provide world class standards of customer service by delivering innovative skill development programmes
  • Prosper through People acrobat - a Hampshire-wide project concerned with up-skilling the workforce in the Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure industry
  • Rural Welcome - Executive Summary / Full Report acrobat - this project delivered a skills and training programme to rural tourism businesses in the south east 10 protected landscape areas
  • Surrey Tourism Skills Network acrobat - a Surrey wide project aimed at providing demand led training, developing a brokerage service and a training strategy for the county
  • Tourism Skills Network South East - phase 1 acrobat  - this south east wide project aimed to raise regional productivity, skills levels and economic competitiveness through effective partnership alliances
  • Tourism Skills Network South East - phase 2 - Executive Summary / Full Report acrobat  - this was a continuation from phase 1 (above)
  • Welcome E-Learning - Executive Summary / Full Report acrobat  - this south east wide project aimed to address underskilling and to boost ICT usage among managers and key workers in the tourism, leisure and hospitality by delivering a series of awareness-raising events, providing outreach tourism business advisor visits to engage with businesses, developing e-learning and online business support opportunities, and delivering e-learning, blended learning and other training programmes to meet identified business needs
  • Welcome Sussex acrobat - this project focused on improving the entrepreneurial and business skills of owner managers of small and medium sized hotels and guest houses throughout Sussex
