Opened in September 2010, the new Macdonald Windsor Hotel, situated 2 minutes walk from the gates of Windsor Castle offers 120 luxury bedrooms in the heart of the historic town.
MacDonald Hotels had their own in house training course but wanted to experience different ways and different ideas of delivery and content.
'One of the reasons for doing the course was that they needed new employees trained and the existing managers to experience an up to date energising course that highlighted the importance of customer care' stated Charlotte McCarthy, HR manager.
'The team, including managers, participated fully and were all very positive about Welcome Host Gold. The whole day was very enjoyable with lots of activities. The biggest benefit was team building as the course gave lots of opportunities for interaction.
The trainer was fantastic very experienced and professional. The team decided that every member of staff from every department should go on courses like this one'.
