Open course delivery
Arranged at various locations throughout England to enable individual participants/companies to attend.
One of the advantages of attending an open course is the opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with other participants from a variety of backgrounds. It also enables a number of staff to participate over a period of time so there is less disruption to the running of your business. Courses are arranged throughout the year.
Delivered on your own premises by one of our experienced trainers and to fit in with business operations. Courses can be customised and tailored to reflect company needs/objectives.
In-house courses can be run for a company or several companies, colleges, associations or groups, who provide the venue, refreshments, food and training equipment. We will provide a fully experienced trainer, participant materials, lapel badge and certificate.
Larger organisations can train their own staff to deliver Welcome to Excellence programmes.
Sometimes it is more cost effective for a member of your own staff to be trained to run one of the Welcome to Excellence courses. This provides potential for complete flexibility in terms of when and where courses are delivered and content can also be geared to your own business needs.
- The first step is to take a look at the trainer specifications for each course.
- A trainer briefing is run by the Welcome to Excellence Master Trainer.
- Each briefing programme is arranged for between 4 and 10 people and runs over one day.
- Prices are calculated on an individual basis and will vary according to numbers and the selected course.
- Company trainers receive full support materials and are officially accredited as a Welcome to Excellence Trainer.
- We provide ongoing guidance and support.
Welcome to Excellence corporate endorsements
Corporate endorsements can be arranged for larger companies with their own in-house customer service package - materials are mapped to the standard and are able to achieve Welcome to Excellence endorsement. This enables them to be part of a national customer service programme and potentially staff can build skills and knowledge to achieve the City and Guilds Level 2 qualification. Companies working with us in this way include Bourne Leisure, English Heritage and London Gatwick Airport.
