Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme

The Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme (VAQAS), run by VisitEngland, is a consumer focused quality assessment service for all types of visitor attractions. It helps to identify the strengths of an attraction and highlights areas for development based on industry examples. A wide range of attractions of all sizes, both large and small, throughout England are already benefiting from participating in the service.

Participating attractions are visited annually by trained, impartial assessors, who analyse all aspects of the 'visitor experience', from customer service to catering, information provision to activities.
