Following three years of the highly successful Go!China campaign, Tourism South East is recognised as the most active region in China outside of London and is now broadening the programme to include other parts of the growing Asia Pacific market. The campaign will remain largely China-based, but with preliminary activities undertaken in the wider marketplace.

 


Key Components/Distribution Channels of Campaign:

  • Representation at exhibitions, including China International Travel Mart (CITM) and Destination Britain & Ireland (DEBI)
  • Inclusion in China Holidays’ ‘Hello Britain’ guide
  • Familiarisation trips for press and trade
  • Presence on Tourism South East’s Chinese website (hosted in China)
  • China Holidays’ ‘Hello Britain’ monthly newsletter
  • Other ad-hoc activity in the Asia pacific area

Target Audience:Trade and Media in Asia Pacific Region

Benefits to customer:

Cost effective representation to the Asia Pacific market – CITM attracts 10,000 buyers and 50,000 members of the public over the four days & DEBI allows networking with just under 100 buyers with additional exposure through China Holiday’s activity (Hello Britain print and email) and inclusion in fam trips to the UK from Asia Pacific.

When campaign goes live:  The campaign is already running but there are still opportunities for businessess to be involved.
