As we get nearer to Games time many businesses are gearing up for the Games and seeing their levels of preparedness as a competitive advantage. As a start ask yourself these questions;

Is your business is in an affected area?

  • You can view a map of the key venues and roads effected.

 What about your staff?

  • How do your staff commute to work?
  • Where do staff travel in the course of work ?
  • Have you staff booked annual leave, registered to be volunteers or bought tickets for events during the Games?
  • How will you encourage your staff to celebrate during the Games?

How will it affect your customers and visitors?

  • Consider the impact the travel disruption may have on your customers and visitors?

How about your deliveries and collections?

  • Consider what is currently delivered to or collected from your site, and how distribution during the Games will be affected?
  • Talk to your couriers and suppliers
