Ade Adepitan Inspires Tourism Businesses

Tourism South East met with Ade Adepitan to record his views on accessibility.  Ade Adepitan won a bronze medal at the 2004 Paraylmpics and a gold medal at the 2005 World Cup.  The meeting took place at the widely accessible London Eye and Ade focused on his desire to motivate tourism businesses across the South East to use the inspiration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to improve their accessibility and ‘Welcome All’ to their premises.

Peter Norfolk Engages Tourism Businesses

TSE recently invited Paralympic Tennis Gold Medallist Peter Norfolk (OBE) to present at an accessibility workshop at Legoland, Windsor.  Peter won gold at the 2004 and 2008 Paralympics and is also a business owner himself, with a small, family owned business in Hampshire; EPC Wheelchairs

Peter focused on his own experiences of good and bad practice in relation to accessibility and encouraged business owners in the South East to improve their information, facilities and customer service in order to welcome more visitors to their premises.
